AVC Rug (approx 150x100cm)

This 150x100cm (approx) Afghanistan Veteran Community (AVC) Rug has been specially commissioned with the AVC logo and dessert colours.  After costs, shipping and taxes - all profits will be donated directly to the AVC charity.  

These rugs are fairtrade and handmade in the Northern provinces of Afghanistan and are hard wearing, they are made from 100% sheep wool and natural vegetable dyes.  Please note by their very nature these are not perfect, some have differing kilim finishing at the edges (see photos) and some have the odd blemish or patch where slightly different coloured wool has been used and some may not be entirely symmetrical - this is normal.  Any creases you can see are from being packed tightly during shipping and will quickly vanish once the rug is walked on.

There are several of these available and if out of stock you can still purchase and your order will be added to the next delivery, although please be aware production and shipping can take several months.
