Classic Kilim Footstool

Our Classic Kilim Footstools are made with a variety of handmade fair-trade kilims from Afghanistan. They are manufactured a few miles from the shop in West Yorkshire by a family run upholstery firm like ours. The kilims are backed before being turned into footstools, to ensure UK fire retardant specifications are maintained. They measure 47cm Length, 45cm Width and 35cm Height. This has proven to be our most popular size, they are great as a footstool, an occasional seat as they are high enough to sit on, and also firm enough to hold a food tray. All our kilims are handmade in the Northern Provinces of Afghanistan and are made with 100% sheeps wool and 100% natural vegetable dyes.
