Delivery Information
Please allow 3-5 working days for delivery. Prices are based on approximate weights and sizes of our average products and are to cover our costs.
If you require your order to arrive quicker than this or on a specific day, for instance if it is for a gift for a special occasion, then this can be arranged by simply contacting us by phone or email. Some additional charges may apply.
EU and International Delivery
Should you wish to ship any items internationally (outside of the UK mainland), then please contact us. Postage charges will apply and the buyer will also be responsible for any relevant import duty charges applied by customs in the receiving country.
Returns Policy
If you are not entirely happy with your purchase we offer a full returns policy. Contact us within 7 days and return your items within 14 days. Please note you will be responsible for any return delivery charges. We recommend you use a reputable company and ensure the items are insured and signed for. Please ensure you package the items carefully to prevent any damage in transit.
A refund will be issued within 3 days of the item being returned although your bank may take longer to credit it to your account. Returned items must be in the original condition in which you received them and we reserve the right to withhold part of the refund if cleaning or repair is required.
Exchange
If you receive a product and simply wish to change your mind and swap it for something else, that’s fine. You will be refunded/charged any difference in the price of the newer item and we will dispatch the exchange item, only once we have received the original item back in good condition. Whilst we cover the cost of any outbound postage for free, you will be responsible for any return costs unless the items faulty or damaged.
Faulty Items
Very unusual but it can happen. Should you receive a faulty item them please inform us within 48hrs of receipt by phone or email. We will arrange for the items to be returned to us at our cost and a full refund will be issued or a replacement sent.
Please note that all our items are handmade using very natural products. They therefore can have inconsistencies within the patterns and colours. These inconsistencies in no way detract from the beauty or quality of the rugs and demonstrate their authenticity as a handmade product. Such ‘flaws’ do not constitute to the product being ‘faulty’ and as such, should you not want the product our normal returns policy applies.
Some rugs and kilims may not be well ‘drawn’. A badly drawn rug is one that has one end wider than the other, or tapers, or is basically wonky to look at. You should be able to tell from the online photos if what you are looking at is badly drawn. We have one or two kilims and the odd rug that are slightly badly drawn. This is not a fault and the rugs/kilims are sold as seen. For badly drawn rugs/kilims the price will normally reflect the imperfection if it is really obvious, although many customers specifically ask for these as they like the uniqueness and quirk of the odd shapes.
Some of our older kilims and rugs have the odd mark or blemish, but bearing in mind some of them are as much as 110 years old these are not considered faults. If buying an older item the description in our online store will likely advise of marks, however all our products are professionally washed before they go into our stock.
Some kilims may have a little colour bleaching from dark areas to light, this is due to the nature of the natural non-fast vegetable dyes used in the colouring process. Moisture from the washing process or moisture in the air can cause transfer of dye (although normally very slight) when the kilims are folded. This is not a fault and is to be expected in some small areas of your kilim, especially in plain cream kilims.
Out of Stock Items
We constantly update our stock and on occasion some items go out of stock at very short notice. If you make a purchase and your item becomes out of stock, or is purchased in store at the same time you are trying to buy online – you will be entitled to a full and immediate refund. This is likely to be a rare occurrence and we will make every effort to prevent this happening.
Privacy Policy
We will not pass or sell your details to any third party. We may send you occasional offers and updated stock information. We really do mean occasional and you can opt out of these emails at any time by ‘unsubscribing’ on the email link or by contacting us.

When you use our website we and our carefully selected third-party partners (mainly Google) may collect information by using cookies. By using our website, you are accepting and consenting to these practices as described in this policy. If at any time you wish to disable our cookies you may do so in your browser settings, but if you do so you may not be able to use or access certain functions or parts of our websitesA cookie is a small file of letters and numbers placed on your computer or other device when you visit a website.
