This traditionally patterned Andkhoy rug is, in the main, mid blue and navy with burgundy, copper and cream accents.

Handcrafted by Afghan artisans employing traditional weaving techniques refined over generations. 

Produced under fair trade standards, this rug ensures equitable compensation for the skilled weavers whilst preserving authentic Afghan textile heritage. 

Natural vegetable dyes are used to colour the wool used to create this striking piece. As you can see, a different batch of blue wool has been used at one end of the rug, which is included in standard practice and a testament to the handmade nature of these products.

Please ignore any creases, these are caused by being tightly packed in transit for over 6 weeks. The creases drop out within a week or so, once the rug is flat and walked on.
